My Christmas Decorations

I'm putting away my Christmas decorations this weekend but before I do, here are some pictures:

The wreath on my front door with its pink bow.

Holiday cards tacked to the bulletin board in my entryway, and the chalkboard holiday sign my sister Katy edited.

A jar full of candy canes and peppermints, and my vintage Santa napkin holder turned mail sorter.

My Christmas tree.

Can you find the pickle ornament?

My ambulance ornament.

My Santa light turned tree-topper.

Extra ornaments hanging with fishing line from my living room lamp shade.

My advent calendar hanging on the wall as a part of an existing group of frames.

The vintage skaters my mom gave me.

Vintage holiday houses on my coffee table.

And, a vintage holiday house in my kitchen.

An array of cookie tins waiting to be filled with sugar cookies like these.

A pipe cleaner candy cane in my shower.

A little gnome ornament perching on the picture frame in my bathroom.

More ornaments hung from fishing line from the scones on either side of my bed.

A Spode Christmas tray on my nightstand.

A vase full of pipe cleaner candy canes on my desk.

Not pictured: This DIY candy cane candle on my kitchen table, and this DIY winter candle on my dresser.

Christmas was great, taking down the decorations is a little sad, but at the same time it's a welcome fresh start.

I've got plans to do lots of blogging in 2012, click here to be e-mailed when there's a new post.
